About Pitch X
Pitch X is an iOS app originally developed by a High School Varsity pitcher who saw a need for a super-simple pitch counter that would function outside the popular game-management apps that required full attention. Once new and sometimes complicated pitch count rules started being enforced, it became clear that coaches were going to need help keeping track of who was eligible and for how long in each game. So a pitch count rules engine was created to accommodate the multiple complex rules that different states and leagues were initiating.
With the new release, Pitch X now supports all 50 U.S. states' pitch count rules, as well as other North American jurisdictions and the MLB-sponsored "Pitch Smart USA" rules.
Pitch X is free to use for simple pitch counting for up to 3 players.
For coaches who use Pitch X to track pitch counts against their local pitch count rules, there is a $9.99 annual subscription fee. Xappox will maintain these rules over time so that each year you can be assured that you're getting accurate, real-time information about your players' eligibility.
